For this destination wedding in Spain, we traveled to a breathtaking location about 1.5 hours from Barcelona airport – the Hotel Molí Blanc in Igualada.

A change of plans due to rain

The couple had planned an outdoor wedding ceremony, but the weather had other ideas. As rain started pouring down, they quickly moved the ceremony into the venue’s charming vaults. This unexpected change created a cozy and intimate atmosphere, making the moment even more special.

A special surprise for the groomsmen

To add a personal touch, the bride surprised her groomsmen with fanny packs. They proudly showed them off in the photos, adding a fun and unique element to the day.

Romance in the vault

Although the couple initially felt a little disappointed, the vaulted space turned out to be the perfect setting. Its rustic charm and warm lighting enhanced the romantic mood, allowing them to fully enjoy their ceremony despite the change of plans.

The rain finally stops

After the ceremony, the rain cleared, and everyone could continue celebrating outside as planned. The guests gathered on the covered terrace, where fairy lights and elegant decor created a magical setting for dinner. A nearby pool added to the venue’s charm, making the atmosphere even more special.

An undisturbed party

Since the hotel was reserved exclusively for the couple, the celebration could continue outdoors without any restrictions. Guests danced under the stars, enjoying the freedom of the remote location. Some even took a daring midnight jump into the pool, adding a spontaneous and unforgettable touch to the night.
