MY STORY
I’m Karin Busch, a German-born photographer now soaking up the sunshine in Los Angeles! I’ve spent years photographing love stories and candid photos for weddings, couples, and more all across Europe, and now I’m bringing that experience, eye for detail, and obsession with genuine moments to SoCal and beyond.
Photography’s been in my blood for as long as I can remember. I blame my two grandpas, one obsessed with snapping endless photos of feet (yeah, really), the other filmed everything he possibly could.
When I was eight, I got my very first analogue camera. It made all these funny little sounds and lights when I clicked the shutter, causing a tiny little spark that ignited a lifetime of chasing real moments.
Since then, my style has evolved into something relaxed, real, and a bit whimsical. I love photojournalistic wedding photography. I don’t believe in stiff poses or fake smiles — just honest, beautiful moments that feel like you.
LA may be my home base (palm trees forever!), but I’m always down for a destination adventure.

Hats off to these trusty little frames. Take off the glasses, and suddenly it’s all soft-focus bokeh.
At weddings and important moments, I switch to contacts so nothing gets in the way of the real action.
Back in the office when I’m in editing mode, my glasses are my detail detectives, helping me hone in and see every perfect detail from a whole new angle.

I’m way less charming without my cup of Joe. Not to worry though, because my coffee machine and I have daily dates.
I should probably try to cut back…but that Joe and I are in a very committed relationship.
1. Fries are always a yes, yes, 1,000 times yes!
2. Music on, always.
3. Candles are a vibe and should be burned at all times, no matter the occasion.
4. Always here for the big feelings and those who have them.
5. Black is my favorite color, though I’m sparkly on the inside.
