Cookies
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure.
Some cookies are “session cookies,” which are automatically deleted after your session ends. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies help recognize you upon returning to our website.
Modern browsers allow you to monitor, restrict, or disable cookie settings. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.
The storage of cookies required for electronic communications or certain requested functions (e.g., shopping cart) is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As the website operator, we have a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically flawless and smooth provision of our services. Other cookies (e.g., for analytics) are covered separately in this privacy policy.

Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses "cookies" to analyze website usage. The data generated is typically transmitted to and stored on Google servers in the USA.
Google Analytics is used based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As the website operator, we have a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize our web services and advertising.

IP Anonymization
We use Google Analytics with the IP anonymization feature. This ensures that Google truncates your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmitting it to the USA. In exceptional cases, Google may transfer the full IP address to a server in the USA and truncate it there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin
You can prevent cookies from being stored by your web browser. However, this may limit some functionalities of our website. Additionally, you can prevent Google from collecting data related to your website usage, including your IP address, and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Objection to Data Collection
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. This will set an opt-out cookie that prevents the collection of your data during future visits to our website: Disable Google Analytics.
For details on how Google Analytics handles user data, please refer to Google’s privacy policy:
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

Data Processing Agreement
To fully comply with legal data protection requirements, we have concluded a data processing agreement with Google.

Demographic Data in Google Analytics
Our website uses the “demographic features” function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that include statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. These data originate from Google’s interest-based advertising and visitor data from third-party providers. These data cannot be attributed to a specific person. You can disable this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or by generally prohibiting the collection of your data by Google Analytics, as explained in the "Objection to Data Collection" section.

Pinterest Plugin
Our website uses functions of the social network Pinterest. The provider is Pinterest Inc., 808 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA 94103-490, USA.
When you access a page containing Pinterest features, your browser establishes a direct connection to Pinterest’s servers. Log data is transmitted to Pinterest’s servers, which are located in the USA. These log data may include your IP address, visited websites, browser type and settings, date and time of the request, your use of Pinterest, and cookies.
For details, please refer to Pinterest’s privacy policy:
https://about.pinterest.com/en/privacy-policy.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
Our website uses Google AdWords. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States.
AdWords is an online advertising program. As part of the online advertising program, we use conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that your web browser stores on your device. Google AdWords cookies expire after 30 days and do not serve personal identification. Through the cookie, Google and we can determine that you have clicked on an ad and have been redirected to our website.
Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected through conversion cookies is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who use conversion tracking. Customers learn how many users have clicked on their ad and been redirected to a conversion tracking page. However, AdWords customers do not receive any information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can opt out by deactivating the conversion cookie in your browser settings. This will prevent inclusion in the conversion tracking statistics.
The storage of “conversion cookies” is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both its website and advertising.
For more details on Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking, refer to Google’s privacy policy:
https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
You can monitor, restrict, or prevent the setting of cookies using a modern web browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Facebook Pixel
This website uses the Facebook visitor action pixel for conversion measurement. The provider of this service is Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. According to Facebook, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.
This allows the behavior of website visitors to be tracked after they have clicked on a Facebook advertisement and been redirected to the provider’s website. This enables the effectiveness of Facebook ads to be analyzed for statistical and market research purposes, and future advertising efforts to be optimized.
The data collected is anonymous to us as the website operator, meaning we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of users. However, Facebook stores and processes the data, allowing a connection to the respective user profile and enabling Facebook to use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with Facebook's Data Usage Policy. This allows Facebook to display ads both on and outside of the Facebook platform. As website operators, we have no control over this data usage.
The use of the Facebook Pixel is based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising, including via social media. If consent has been requested (e.g., consent to store cookies), processing is based exclusively on Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR; consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Details can be found here:
