A unique styled shoot with a couple
A couple shoot in downtown Los Angeles is something special. The city offers a breathtaking backdrop with historic buildings and a unique atmosphere. For this styled shoot, I decided to focus on the LGBTQIA+ theme. I asked the designers from Sharpe Suiting, an LGBTQ-owned company(more info on Sharpe Suiting), to collaborate with me.
I know the model couple I chose for the photo shoot through a friend. Not only are they one of the warmest couples I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, they also have a cool sense of humor. This made the shoot something very special.
Customized suits – specially designed for the photo shoot
Sharpe designed bespoke suits for the couple for this special occasion. The suits were perfectly tailored to them and emphasized their personality and individuality.
We chose “Old Hollywood” as the theme for the couple’s photo shoot. We wanted to capture the glamor and elegance of times gone by. At the same time, we also wanted to express the couple’s love and connection.

The shoot took place in downtown LA. We chose historic buildings as the backdrop to reflect the theme of the shoot. The architecture and atmosphere of the buildings perfectly matched the theme and gave the shoot a special touch.
Sharpe was incredibly fun to work with. The team of designers were not only talented and creative, but also incredibly lovely and reliable. Their work made the couple shoot special and perfectly realized the vision we had for the couple shoot.
The combination of the unique backdrop, the bespoke suits and the couple’s love and connection resulted in beautiful and authentic photos. It was an honor to photograph this couple and express their story through the images.
